Friday, Jul 23, 2010

Bids for the onshore LNG FEED have been called, the Australian Major said, in the second quarter results briefing.

For offshore components separate tenders are expected to be issued.

A final investment decision is to be due by mid-2012.

Browse LNG will begin production initially from trains at a rate of 12 tonnes per annum.

This project will also include several offshore platforms which are to be located on the Torosa, Brecknock and Calliance fields as well as an export pipeline to the LNG plant at James Price Point in the Kimberley region.
